I had a Right hip Arthroplasty anterior approach performed by Dr. Valadie on November 28. 2016 under Spinal anesthesia. I was in the O.R. at 7:00 and was home by 2:00pm. He also injected local anesthetic at the injection site. Even after the spinal wore off, I was numb for 18-24 hours. I was amazed at how fast my recovery was. The whole process from the booking, lab. hospital orientation, PT was organized like clock work. They have it down to a science.

He is great, only people who are upset leave reviews so I thought I would make people considering him know the truth. I had a very interesting and difficult case of a badly messed up knee due to a fall, he was very thorough in making a decision on treatment, you can tell he really cares and wants what is best for you. The last thing he wanted to do was make my life harder by putting me through surgery and having a longer recovery times and I am grateful he found a better way to deal with it.

The diagnosis, Bone on Bone, the fix ,total hip replacement. This guy is your friend and that is the way he communicates with you. Never felt uncomfortable. Always felt confidant he could fix my problem. Two hours after surgery I was walking , I knew the pain was gone the first step I took. His therapy program had me climbing stairs after 5 days, no walker or cane and back to work in 16 days, Hip # 2 14 days, no more pain! I recommend Dr.Valadie to everyone, both He and his staff were AWSOME!

This was my first to see him, although I have seen other docters there over the years. He was very nice and kind. Seemed very professional and was Interested in my condition. Have a follow up with him soon, and I would recommend him to others.

I am happy to recommend Dr Valadie to anyone considering a hip replacement. I had mine done 2 yrs ago and it changed my life. No more pain/No more struggles. I can climb stairs without holding the railing; touch my toes; step into my bathtub; wear socks again, & tie my shoes too! I can bend down and get up....easy-peasy. Etc, etc, etc. Dr Valadie was fantastic explaining everything thoroughly. No surprises. I knew just what to expect. He is a top notch surgeon who cares about his patients

From my initial consultation to the final visit, everything went like clock work. Dr. Valadie and his staff were tremendous. He thoroughly explained the anterior hip replacement and the benefit for me, the patient, in regards to pain and recovery. I was freaking out my neighbors in St. Petersburg and causing a lot of discussion in Pennsylvania with family regarding my quick recovery.

Consistent, excruciating pain in lower spine. Dr. Sundberg operated on my back and pain is now gone. Still rehabbing but able to lead a normal life. A wonderful, skillful doctor who listens and explains everything that he will be doing to help my condition.
