This was my initial appointment with Dr.Popp. His relaxing introductory demeanor, followed by a thorough examination, x-rays, and an explanation of my condition was most informative. He then presented a course of treatment with options designed for my age, lifestyle, both short and longer term. After meeting for the first time, I really appreciated his patience, thoroughness, clear explanations, options provided with potential results, yet leaving the final decision up to me. He was not pushy nor rushed, and took the time I needed to clarify any issues or questions I had. I arrived a little early. Still the staff was courteous and helpful. I was taken to a room promptly. I did not sit very long before an assistant came in to take down vital information. I was asked the important questions and spared the mundane irrelevant questions. She showed concern and made notes to items that I described like overall level of pain. Dr. Popp is very easy to talk with and he communicates clearly in a way a patient can understand. A few years ago his surgery on my wife's back completely solved her leg pain. She can line dance again! He took a look at an MRI of my neck yesterday and explained that surgery could do more harm than good. You got a love a doctor who isn't in it for the $$. You will get an honest and comprehensive response from him.

My son received a physical and was informed he had “ ankylosing spondylitis” and should get an evaluation as soon as possible! After reaching out to my former employer she reached out to Dr. Popp whom fit my son in same day!!! He provided great information a recommended stretching at this time and said that he may or may not have this condition but to continue watching at this time and follow up in a year just to monitor but not to torture a 14 year old with unnecessary PT, testing, medications or anything else because he po... read more
