I was originally ASSIGNED to Dr. Halperin for a workers comp issue a few years ago. The huge amounts of paperwork and regulations involved (compared to seeing a doctor of choice) was making ME crazy but he handled it all very professionally and with no complaints. He explained why oversight was necessary. He filled out the extra forms and dealt professionally, with the extra leaps necessary. I consider him my “orthopedic doctor” even if using my own insurance and medicare. He was and continues to be a good fit for me.
Doctor listened and explained everything thoroughly. Wrapped my hand and set up a follow up appointment. He’s a little gruff, which may put some people off but I didn’t mind it at all.

Visiting Dr. Halperin is comforting and reassuring. His cordial manner puts a patient at ease and he works with you to make sure he understands your issues. He is very good at explaining the anatomical issue and discusses treatment options in a manner that makes a patient's decision making easy.

Visit was for arm/shoulder issue. Dr listened to my concerns, asked relevant questions, evaluated condition, and patiently explained condition was not arm/shoulder related. Referred me to a Spine specialist.
