I have now had my second appointment here. I find my therapist friendly and relatable. Concerned and compassionate. The reception staff is super friendly and kind. Also, fun to chat with while making appointments.
Alyssa & Cheryl have been amazing with giving me optimal advice on working through my emotions and my feelings. Helping me work through challenges I’ve been resonating with for some years now. I went to LifeWorks in Ankeny for therapy and really liked it while my original therapist was there. Unfortunately, after she left, I was told I’d receive a call to get scheduled with someone new....but that call never came. After nearly three months of waiting, I decided to follow up myself. Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming, The receptionist staff were very kind and helpful. I saw Rodney, which I was hesitant at first because I've only ever seen female therapists, but even after one session I feel like I received a lot of of helpful input.
Please do better! Not sure why the psychiatrist at this place thinks that a forwarded email to their patient will be accepted at any laboratory? The work order has to come directly from the doctor either via fax or email. When I contacted them to have this sent the person on the phone was helpful but the fax they sent was the size of a thumbnail and therefore ineligible. We then had to wait for them to resend the fax so we could get simple blood work done. This place needs to have more foresight into how other clinics work... read more
