We have had a wonderful experience with Nystrom thus far. The people answering calls and scheduling appointments are helpful and informative. Amy (Psychiatry) as well as Susan (counselor) have been great to work with! There was no wait time like so many other places in the area. I will recommend Nystrom to others!
i have seen numerous counselors & DRs/prescribers at numerous different clinics throughout my life. Each place had some major flaw that made treatment extremely stressful for me & I've been treated like crap, or been disregarded by those providers. I was never included in on my treatment - & I've been stereotyped more times than I care to admit. This caused me to go several years w/o treatment...which led to serious complications in my life. The therapists were very rude, they did not take my concerns into consideration, and the billing department was impossible to get ahold of to set up a payment plan despite MULTIPLE CALLS to them, and they sent our bill to collections. We will never be coming back to this office.
We got in so quickly without waiting months. His therapist is so amazing and personable and she's great with my son. I love being able to be in the room so I can learn things too because it helps me at home too!
I only had one appointment here. Honestly, I got the impression the Dr I was meeting was inconvenienced by being there. I know the first appointment is really just gathering information, but seemed very disinterested. At one point he asked me why I was even there. Despite the bad impression, I was open to giving it another shot and I scheduled a 2nd appointment for a week later.
