Stepping into this clinic is like walking into a theatrical experiment where the blood pressure cuff is the star and you are merely a supporting character. My appointments felt less like therapy and more like participating in a live performance called Obsessive Vital Signs: The Musical. The psychiatrist was great explaining how & why she was looking at each medication to change, get rid of, do a step down from, increase or lower dosages on. She was willing to stop & listen to what we had to say. An ultimately we made a medication decision together! Lindsay Schwab-Peterson is a great lady!!! I would recommend you to find & give her a chance to help you or a loved one that is in need of medication management!!! ♡
Nystrom offers many resources and programs that provide continuity of care. My therapist is Kurt Sayers and he is absolutely wonderful. He is empathetic and relatable and gives me relevant feedback on my current issues so I can be proactive in my own care. Also, Kurt is able educate you about any particular diagnosis you may have. I have gone to Nystrom in the past, but now I am going to therapy weekly and it is the best decision I have ever made. My therapist is amazing. I thought it would take me at least 5 or 6 different people before I found a good fit. But my first visit and it was a perfect match. He is a wonderful therapist. I encourage anyone who needs therapy to at least give it a try. It could be life changing, mine was. It can be extremely dangerous to operate a business like this and have profits as your to concern. What about the patient and there needs? When did this become OK even? After using there services twice. They admitted to me that they wanted me to do certain things not for my benefit. It really wouldn't have in an any way. Just to fill an open seat and therefore give then someone to bill. That's it, flat out. I suppose at least there honest, some of them at least.
