I had an extremely disappointing experience with Nystrom and Associates in Chaska, MN. I was paired with a psychiatrist out of St. Cloud who only offered telehealth appointments but oddly expected me to monitor and report my own blood pressure for her, something I found both odd and concerning. Hard time getting a hold of anyone. Tried to get my daughter scheduled for ADHD testing, they said they needed a referral, then she can go on the wait list which is about a year. After my doctor went the referral, I called a couple times and left voicemails asking them to verify they had received the documents. Never heard back from them. Now I called months later and they’re telling me they never put my daughter on the wait list because she doesn’t even qualify. I’m at Nystrom for medication management and in only two session I’m quite disappointed. I felt as though even though my concerns were heard, they were immediately accepted and pills were encouraged right away. In my second session it was the shortest I’ve ever had and was recommended Seroquel for sleep habits I didn’t express I wanted to medicate or showed concern for, an antipsychotic not used for treating sleeping issues including insomnia as one of the side affects.

I was very hesitant about counseling, but then I met Coreen at Nystrom & Associates in Chaska. She helped me through one of the most difficult times of my life. I somehow fell into a terrible depression and she truly helped me find my way out of it. She is very compassionate and understanding. I highly recommend!

I have had a great experience with Nystrom and Associates over many years. Mostly medication monitoring and they have been responsive and helpful! I have worked with Jacob Moore for several years and he is great. During Covid they offered online appointments and I really appreciated that!
