Horrible services. They don't want to understand their own clients only help those who are already fine. They don't understand that the ones who struggling are the ones who need the most help. I worked with Christopher Reigstad a long with other counselors and I was often met with unhelpful criticism. They were often judgemental and would say what should have happened and what I should do making me feel worse about myself. Every time I call, the schedulers are kind, thoughtful and respectful. The gals at the front desk smile at me and address me by name when I come in. They see so many people every day and yet they remember my name. It’s remarkable really. My therapist there is hands down amaze-balls! He helps me talk things through and come to conclusions and realizations together and doesn’t just “therapize” me. They'll send your account to third party collections and deny you vital services when you can't afford to pay bill. HORRIBLE business practices. Heartless, incompetent, and uncompassionate staff. STAY AWAY!
I have had such an AMAZING experience at Nystrom. I am in the DBT program with my main caretakers being Alyson, Paige, and Tyler. They are all amazing individuals. I genuinely got so much better. I feel like I’m able to finally take control of my life. As someone with BPD, I never thought I’d live a normal life but I’m making it! Dr. P is doing a swell job from what i can tell in my day to day life after our sessions. She is an attentive listener and has only cut me off once. I personally would hate to listen to me talk for an hour straight but she lets me vent about whatever i want to and doesnt get bothered by it or make me feel like i am wasting my time nor hers. I am so glad i picked her over the other options that i could have, not trying to be mean to therapists but i knew and know my type of person right when i see them.
