Dr. Lee is very rude. Never explained the procedure nor what to expect. I literally saw him for less than one minute to tell me what time I was being taken to surgery and at that point was treated as less than human given hand signals with a scowl on his his face. Mind you at this point I had been heavily medicated for three days and was woken at 5:30 a.m. to be given this information. Like others have said, Dr. Lee is a man of few words. However, his surgical skills speak volumes! I thank God for him. Dr. Lee performed a very complex and meticulous heart surgery on my mother-in-love (mother-in-law). The fact that she is here and doing well is an absolute miracle. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a surgeon with unmatched skills.
I had Dr Raymond Lee (& Dan, his PA), probably when I was 55, & now 62!! He & his team were the best ever! He has the HANDS OF GOD!! My best friend & I interviewed about 4 Open Heart Surgeons, as my situation was a sudden urgent matter, with not time to waste! My Cardiologist is/was at Memorial ( Dr. Ramon Castello), also a TOP CHOICE!! He is also SUPERIOR, but a sudden heart surgery.... HANDS DOWN IS DR RAYMOND LEE!!! Needs to learn how to speak to people and be more informative. Very rude!!! Bad bed side manner. Made us feel like we were wasting his time. Got false information from him. Would not let him touch anyone I cared about. Treats you like your a surgeon and looks down on you when you ask questions. Most rude doctor I ever meet!!!!!
Excellent care. Dr Lee is a man of few words but his surgical skills speak for him. Do not hesitate to consider him for your care.
