I have now had my second appointment here. I find my therapist friendly and relatable. Concerned and compassionate. The reception staff is super friendly and kind. Also, fun to chat with while making appointments.
I went to LifeWorks in Ankeny for therapy and really liked it while my original therapist was there. Unfortunately, after she left, I was told I’d receive a call to get scheduled with someone new....but that call never came. After nearly three months of waiting, I decided to follow up myself. The person I spoke with was kind, but I was told the only in-person providers available in Ankeny were male, even though my previous therapist had said I’d be set up with a female provider which was my personal preference. Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming, The receptionist staff were very kind and helpful. I saw Rodney, which I was hesitant at first because I've only ever seen female therapists, but even after one session I feel like I received a lot of of helpful input.
