Sagent Behavioral Health is atrocious. I'd be hard-pressed to believe that any of them are licensed or even educated in the field they claim to be in. They were extremely difficult to work with. Very argumentative. What megalomaniacs. Sagent needs to be shut down. Completely unethical, ammoral. I wish on everything I could give somewhere zero stars. Beware that this clinic apparently switched ownership, and they are very short staffed. The associates that they have scheduling appointments for patients are not aware of what insurance they take, what procedures need to be taken prior to the appointment, and they will not communicate with you until 30 minutes before the appointment. Maria Swisher is phenomenal! She really cares, listens, knows so much and is able to explain things really well. She absolutely does her best to help as best as she is able. I really can’t say enough good things about her, she’s been amazing and very supportive.

Wonderful, kind provider, SIGNS ARE NEEDED. When you go in, you have to look all around. After you leave the office, there are no signs that say EXIT, or CHECK OUT. Every other place I go to has this. Much easier

I met with Maria Swisher this morning at the Edgewood Road Cedar Rapids location for a scheduled appointment. I had not met with Maria before today, and she met me in the waiting room. Without introducing herself, she walked me back to her office and proceeded to ask me a series of questions regarding my mental state and mental health history. All of this was available in my chart along with multiple pages of summary and diagnoses from a psychiatrist from the Nystrom Iowa City clinic. The questions were frustratingly imperso... read more
