Staff was fine. No show fee of $107 is exorbitant and management is not understanding that people get can’t always know 24 hours ahead of time when their symptoms will exacerbate. My therapist lied to me and said if that happens they will work with me and understand. That is not true. I have had back and forth conversations with the billing department and they refuse to help at all after I explained my situation. I was happily paying out of pocket for all of my daughters sessions. Then my daughter got health coverage from her absent father, who then removed her from his policy. Nystrom continued to see my daughter knowing she was removed from the policy (I had no idea) and they let me rack up a huge bill without saying a word, even though i provided secondary insurance through my own employer. I am very safe at Nystrom & Associates which creates and expresses a free and serene sense of being. I know in my "core" that my case manager at Nystrom & Associates cares deeply for me. I am always heard and affirmed despite my need to change some things. My case manager/ therapist is able to keep me on track when my mind gets sidetracked with my fear. I do not recommend this practice. My husband and I went for marriage counseling for about one year. Huge waste of money and time for us. From my perspective it was like going to play in a therapist little black box. All these little therapy games and playing with toys in a sandbox. No input, feedback, suggestions or advice—nothing! The staff did nothing to ensure we were a good fit for the therapist other than asking if we’d prefer a boy or a girl therapist.
