The intake process was lovely. I was able to get my child in quickly and with someone that connected with them immediately. After one visit, I received an email saying the provider was no longer with Ellie and they would help me find a new provider. I called to do that and was put on a waitlist for someone that was a good fit for my child. I have not been able to reach Ellie since.

This place is a real joke. Our family has been with another agency for years but they didn’t have a child therapist available. We brought my elementary age child for grief therapy at Ellie and the first (and only) session with Madisen was so uncomfortable. The very first thing discussed was late/missed appointments and the fees associated. Secondly, odd and borderline inappropriate questions were asked of my child. My initial communication with this organization was good and I was able to schedule a virtual appointment. However, after that it was terrible. I would never recommend them unless you have no other options. Confusing communication about how to access the video visit, 24 hours only to complete the intake paperwork, required to download an app to join the video visit, but none of the communications said specifically to do that. 15 minutes before the appointment, I called and spent 10 minutes on hold before being forced to lea... read more

They canceled my appointment without telling me even though they claimed they sent an email telling me (they never did) because I didn’t fill out intake forms that I never got. All I got was one email from them where I filled everything out that I needed to and signed it and created an account with the app they use for patient portal. Although the woman I was speaking to about this had a soft tone you could tell she had an attitude and was adamant on what she knew from HER end.
