I’ve been going to Sunstone Counseling for about a year now, and it’s been helpful. I have seen 2 of the therapists there, and they have both been very welcoming, knowledgeable, skilled, and kind. They clearly care about their clients’ needs and are dedicated to their practices. The building itself is nice. The lobby/waiting room is a bit small, but it has enough places to sit. I initially recommended this therapy practice to others, but I’ve since retracted that recommendation. My child came in with some unique symptoms and was placed with an intern. When it became clear that my child's situation wasn’t a simple case, I was abruptly told I needed to take my child to a hospital for a "psych eval, tonight, if you wanted," which was confusing.
