I had rotator cuff surgery and bicep repair approximately 4 weeks ago with Dr. Burkhart, I was concerned going into the procedure since I had my right shoulder repaired 5 years ago with a different practice. But this is by far the best experience I've had with a surgical team. Dr. Burkhart staff especially Michelle and Becky are awesome! Physical therapy at his winter park location are also caring, and make you feel special every time I go. From what I've heard, my tear was MASSIVE!!! Dr. Burkhart has been thorough in listening to my descriptions and concerns about my pain, examining and diagnosing the issues, and recommending effective treatment options. I highly recommend him to anyone that prefers a no-nonsense, get right to the point professional.
He was much more professional than Dr. Hines and a much better listener. I still don’t have a clear diagnosis on the extent of my injuries or possible rehabilitation options.
