I have had 2 spine surgery's by MD Sundberg. Lower back and neck. Both operations went very well and gave me the relief I was hoping for. MD Sundberg takes very good care of you before and after operation. Thanks for taking time to answer all my questions and concerns.

I’ve experienced significantly worsening leg pain (both legs) for the past six years. In one surgery, Dr. Sundberg completely eliminated that pain. With me, Dr Sundberg , 3 years ago believed pain management was a viable option to surgery. Which it was for 2.5 years. Went back to him when pain management was no longer effective. We determined surgery was now my solution. Two options were discussed, one more invasive. He recommended the less invasive surgery. I am now recovering nicely and believe the surgery was a success. Best way to describe my experience is that I went from a pain level of 10, where it was extremely painful to even stand or walk even a few steps, to PAIN FREE! His staff is professional, efficient and pleasant. Dr Sundberg has been accessible and always willing to answer any questions I had before or after surgery. He was able to get me in for surgery just before the Covid elective surgery shut down, which saved me an additional 3 months of excruciating pain. I am 6 months into recovery from major back surgery performed by Dr. Eric Sunberg. I had a back fusion involving the L4-L5 discs. I had tried all other conservative treatments in addition to 4+ years of pain management, without any relief. I am very happy I had the surgery and I’m feeling better every month. I tried everything to alleviate my back pain - physical therapy, chiropractic, acupuncture, epidurals, and spinal cord stimulator. I was reluctant, as I had back surgery nine years ago, to try that option again. However, Dr. Sundberg performed a complex front and back spinal fusion and three months later I am walking beaches and swimming, pain free. He is professional, straightforward and empathic. I give him and his staff five stars.

I suffered with sciatica pain down both legs for One year. I tried all the conventional therapies from physical therapy to acupuncture with poor results. All of my pain was gone immediately post surgery after Dr. Sundberg Replace the disk at the 04 L5 level and did a laminectomy. I’m two weeks postop with no pain except the usual discomfort following surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Sundberg.

My experience with Dr. Sundberg, his (Physician Assistant) Kristen, & staff at Coastal Orthopedic was absolutely phenomenal. Through testing & other procedures I was diagnose with cervical stenosis. The pain radiated from top of right arm to my fingertips. Hearing the word "surgery" was devastating. This was my first major surgery. The fear of such a delicate & precise surgery was daunting.
