My visit with Louisville Hip and Knee was seamless. Dr. Y’s Physician Assistant was very knowledgeable, friendly, and kind as were all of the office staff. The wait time was very little from the time I arrived, filled out the paperwork, and was taken to a room. Dr. Green is the man! If you’ve had 1 or 2 knee operations and things still aren’t right, you need to see Dr. Green. Now !! By car, train, plane or boat - get to Louisville Hip & Knee Institute and get in with Dr. Green. Before I saw Dr. Green I had a TKR, a poly revision and a femural component replacement all on my right knee over a period of 5 years. Still, the pain persisted and my range of motion was worse. Dr Yerasimides and the entire care team at Louisville Hip and Knee are world class. I walked into their surgery center at 545 am for a complete hip replacement and walked into Waffle House at 1030 and ate breakfast and was home by noon. I never needed assistance to walk and began PT immediately. I was stunned by how little pain I experienced and how quickly I recovered. They communicate with you constantly before and after your procedure mostly by very timely and informative text messages.

Dr Joseph Green is the absolute best orthopedic knee surgeon in this region bar none. Dr. Green repaired the damage the first surgeon did on my right knee then replaced my left knee. First time in 35 years that I have been free of joint pain. Thank you Dr. Green & Staff

Dr Greene did both of my knee replacements. The first one did great. I was up on my feet the day of the surgery without a lot of pain or discomfort. Unfortunately with the second one, it got infected and required four more surgeries to prevent me from an above knee amputation. It’s been almost a year and a half and I’m still on two antibiotics and followed by infectious disease. Dr. Yesermidies performed a Total Hip Replacement on me 9 Days ago. I am amazed at how well I am able to get around and even perform some activities of daily living with ease!!! The entire process is well thought out and each step flows smoothly. From scheduling to surgery, to preparing (post op meds available at pharmacy, texts to advise what you might want or need, etc).
