1st time I seen Amy she was very informative and went out of her way to aid my needs. I had a skin tear on my lower extremity and she noted It needed a dressing and felt I also needed antibiotic to aid in preventing an infection . Very gentle in giving my injections in bilateral knees.
One week ago today, on 10/11 Dr Green and his team replaced my left knee, which was as bad if not worse than my right knee before it was replaced. I am able to easily walk without a cane or walker (after some streching). I have not taken pain meds for the last 5 days. It was a major surgery and my knee does hurt but it is squarely on the road to recovery and I am on the road to doing all the things I have been unable to do for decades. I was pleased with Dr. Greene and his staff. They are friendly and they listened carefully to my list of ailments. I would recommend them to anyone.

A world of difference! My new hip is ready to kick ass big time and only 6 weeks out! And, I have to add I have never, ever had this much followup from any doctor anywhere. I wish I could go bigger than 5 stars. UPDATE: The left hip did so well I was actually happy to go back 18-months later for the right hip. And, once again I was amazed at the level of care and follow up. It’s like no other surgery ever and I’ve had quite a few over 75 years. I cannot recommend LH&K enough. They are the diamond standard.

My experience was good and I felt comfortable with the care I received from the staff. The place was a happy atmosphere and everyone made me feel happy and comfortable that I was going to finally receive pain relief from my hip pain. Getting prepared for surgery was a breeze drawing blood and putting an IV in my arm felt no pain and the spinal tap, I didn’t even feel it. My partial knee repair/replacement - IMO - was textbook and my recovery/rehab was quicker than expected and I was discharged from Physical Therapy in abt half the time/anticipated visits expected. Dr Greene was my second medical opinion about my knee. The first by a surgeon's website stated he specialized in partial knee replacement. After reviewing my X-rays and "examining" my knee, that MD stated, TOTAL KNEE REPLACEMENT! I recommend Dr Greene for my knee. He had to fix a left knee and my fractured femur that was done by another dr in another facility that is not connected with Dr. Greene. I called Dr. Greene’s Louisville Hip and Knee office to get an appointment to see him in his office. The office staff were so helpful and very supportive. When I saw Dr. Greene , he was so nice and went over what he would do to fixing my knee and fractured femur. I am so glad I found Dr Greene to do the surgery on my left knee and the femur.
