My family and I just moved away from the Bradenton area and one of my biggest regrets is losing Dr. Simmons as my orthopedic physician. I suffer from chronic trigger finger (five surgeries and counting) and arthritis. Dr. Simmons was the absolute best doctor and surgeon I ever encountered. Period. I couldn't bend my finger at all and had been in significant pain. I was terrified to go to a doctor, knowing I needed a shot in my tendon. When I finally went, Dr. Simmons was so caring. She went out of her way to make me comfortable and she administered the shot so expertly, I wondered why I'd been so afraid. Within a day I had full use of my finger, and now, months later, it still works smooth as silk. She is a wonderful doctor... highly recommend her.
