The TALH was beautiful. Two little holes and a very small scar. Then I fell at home and broke the femur on the left leg. Dr. B did a revision of the hip and wired my broken femur bone to a new appliance. This required a huge incision and three week stay in a rehab center. It is seven weeks post op and I have to relearn to walk. Too much time in bed and using a walker. Not his fault. He was great. Very skilled. Prep, assessment and immediate next steps
Dr. B let me decide when to have hip replacement. After 4 yrs getting worse I had it done Jan 23rd. Hardly any pain & I started therapy at home the next day. Walking with a can after 8 days & without any assistance 15 days. Very nice staff; everyone is professional & personable. Nothing but positive.

Dr. Bonenberger replaced both hips about 5 years ago. I recently had compression fractures in my spine so I wanted to be sure no problems with hips. My muscles around hips were tight and painful. All was well with implants and Dr. Bonenberger prescribed physical therapy. I highy recommend him.
