One of his best attributes is his ability to make a precise diagnosis and provide a clear explanation so I could make the right decisions for me. He is realistic about possible outcomes. Dr. Patel is the epitome of a class act. A genuine professional with impressive bedside manners. You don’t come across many doctors like this these days. I recently fractured my L2 - L4 but had experienced trouble finding a good orthopedic or nuero surgeon. I was recommended to Dr. Patel’s practice, Orlando Orthopedic, but was not aware of who I would be visiting with until I received a call. Glad they chose to pair me with someone who was so thorough, caring and kind like Dr. P to work with.

I have been suffering from lower back pain for many years. I have never been given a clear explanation of my condition, or my options to get some relief. Dr. Patel was the first doctor I have seen that took time to explain my many issues. He was kind, empathetic, and most importantly very knowledgeable. For the first time I feel like I am under the care of an extremely competent surgeon who takes the time to address all of my concerns.

Just before heading to Florida for several weeks of vacation I injured my back, resulting in substantial sciatica pain. My visit with Dr. Patel was extremely pleasing. In fact, if I ever do need surgery, I am considering traveling 1,300 miles to have it done by him. A very nice and impressive doctor.
I suffered for months w/sciatic pain due to a herniated disk. Met w/Dr. Patel after a few months of interrupted sleep. He encouraged me to follow the path with which I felt most comfortable - oral steroids, epidural injections, physical therapy - with no relief. I finally was open to discussing surgery. Dr. Patel was very clear about what was involved; what to expect. I was extremely scared and hesitant. Had surgery March 2018; good decision. Dr. Patel was professional and thorough.

Dr Patel took time to explain the procedure and show me what the problem was. The surgery for spinal stenosis went well and he explained what he had done. He made me feel very comfortable and confident in his work. I'll definitely go back if I experience any future problems. I will also recommend this doctor for anyone with spinal problems.

Dr. Patel is beyond talented! Dr. Patel performed a micro lumbar discectomy operation on 11/17 to solve my back problem issues. He is caring, extremely skilled and very professional yet gives you 100% of his attention. He gave me my life back and I have been out of pain for the past 5 months. Please do not be afraid of back surgery and you do not have to live in pain! I highly recommend Dr. Patel and if you have back pain, Dr. Patel is the answer!
