Dr Patel solved a complicated pain issue caused by a disc herniated in a non routine location. After a great recommendation by a nurse, I sought a second opinion from Dr Patel. He discovered my first doctor The incorrectly diagnosed the issue. He tried multiple strategies to address the problem prior to surgery. His position was that surgery should be our last choice. When we had to use a surgical solution, he did an amazing job. The surgery was complicated due to the location of the herniated disc, but it went perfectly.

Was in severe pain from a herniated disk in my neck! Pain ran down from heck to right elbow! Dr Patel was outstanding with asking questions and answering concerns!

Dr. Patel has a good bedside manner. He explained the procedures and options in detail. He spends time answering questions and does not seem to be rushed. He gives the patient his undivided attention.

As a new patient, I was quite impressed with Dr. Ravi R. Patel's demeanor and knowledge. My sciatica was out of control and we tried several nonsurgical options before I chose to have spine surgery. Yes, I was scared and apprehensive but now I'm 2 weeks into recovery and everything is progressing very well. I look forward to continued improvement and am very happy I found Dr. Patel and Orlando Orthopaedic Center. I give a positive rating to all aspects of the practice!

Dr. Patel was the most patient and thorough doctor I've ever talked to. He sat down and talked about everything in great detail, gave me a number of recommendations from least -> most intense/intrusive and talked to me about the benefits and consequences of each. It never felt like he was just rushing to get to the next patient nor pushing for surgery or anything of the sort (the opposite actually). I've never left a review for a Doctor, but definitely choose him if you are having back pain.

I recommend Dr. Ravi R. Patel with Orlando Ortho. I had 2 slightly herniated discs for a while and he helped me with pain management. He didn’t recommend surgery originally, but I then I thought I was younger than I was and I aggravated it further. That’s when my leg pain was unbearable and it was much worse than my back aches.
