I had a rare case of Cauda Equina that was incomplete as Dr. Patel said. He made sure to get me in asap for my MRI and took the time to explain what he thought was going on before the MRI. After the MRI took the time to explain my options and why surgery was needed. Even though I absolutely had to have surgery to make me feel more comfortable he suggested a second opinion. Dr. Patel, from day one listened to me and the issues I was having with my back. He knew exactly what it was, an MRI confirmed it. He informed me of my options from PT, pain blocker shots to finally surgery. It was my journey, I never felt pressured to do one over the other. We started with PT, didn’t help, went to the shots in my spine, didn’t work, finally went with the surgery and I am pain free.
