Dr Kumar has done a reverse shoulder surgery on me. I had no problems with pain, pt. All is really good, I’m back to normal. I have had many surgeries during the course of my life and of course met many Dr’s. I have to say that Dr Kumar is one of the best. In my mind he is a scholar in his field. If you’re looking for a Dr to hold your hand and/or entertain you Dr Kumar is probably not for you. I had a reverse should replacement by Dr. Kumar 4 years ago. I could not be happier with the results! I have had no issues with it at all. Very little pain after the surgery also. I had my other shoulder done in NC several years before this one. My experience with Dr. Kumar was by far the best one!

I had two successful right shoulder surgeries done by Dr Kumar one a Rotator Cuff other Capselar Release. So happy to say it's been just nine months and I have been cleared to only come back as needed. It could have been up to two years before I felt completely healed!! This is all do to Dr Kumar's knowledge in surgery in these areas! I totally recommend him to every person for him doing your surgeries!! His PA Jacob is amazing also!!

Did a great job on my shoulder.
Over the past ten years, Dr. Kumar has repaired my right shoulder rotator cuff and performed a total replacement on my left shoulder. In both cases, my recovery has been excellent with full use of both joints by carefully following Dr. Kumar's protocol and working with the excellent physical therapists. I couldn't be more pleased with the results.
I have had two left rotator cuff surgeries by Dr. Kumar, and the results were great! I have full movement.

My Mom had a total reverse shoulder replacement 2 1/2 weeks ago, at 88 years old, and is doing fantastic! Dr Kumar is awesome at what he does and insists on only the best for his physical therapy group! I would very highly recommend him to anyone needing to have shoulder surgery.

In October of 2018, Dr. Kumar performed Total Reverse Shoulder Replacement on my right shoulder. I choose Dr. Kumar based on prior replacements (hips and knees) by a Coastal Orthopedic Doctor. Due to following Dr. Kumar's protocol and the excellent Physical Therapists, I have full range of motion at my six month check up. Great Doctor and great Orthopedic practice.
