Dr. Kumar is a very caring and trust worthy Orthopedic Physician. He takes the time to explain each and every option in detail. My surgery, was Rotator Cuff surgery. Before having the surgery he first tried physical therapy and a moderate exercise regiment. This helped considerably, but after about one year we decided together that the best approach to correct my problem, would be surgery. This was very successful and I am now like new.

After taking a bad fall ,I was very fortunate to have Dr.Kumar do the surgery and put in a new reverse shoulder. I couldn,t have gotten a better doctor. He helped with every concern I had . I am doing very well.

Dr. Kumar is very pleasant and thorough. I say the best shoulder surgeon in the area. My surgery went very smooth, I had little to no pain afterwards. Recovery process was remarkable, no issues. Went through physical therapy greatly ahead of the game in every aspect and greatly ahead of others with the same surgery, but they had used another doctor. I knew when I found out I needed the surgery, I would go to no other than Dr. Kumar. He did my mom's surgery too, with the same fantastic results.

I had two tears on my rotator cuff and could not raise my arm over my head. I'm a 60 year old carpenter and need to work for few more years before retirement. I was referred to Dr Kumar by my physician. I made an appointment and after getting a MRI we agreed to have surgery. I had surgery in Nov '15' and 6 months later with the surgery and physical therapy I have no pain and I'm about 90-95 percent back to my old self. Dr Kumar is a very knowledgeable and skillful surgeon.Thanks to you and staff

I was referred to Dr. Kumar by my family physician in early 2014. Upon meeting Dr. Kumar I immediately felt comfortable with his demeanor and confidence. Dr. Kumar listened to my concerns, we talked about a plan of action, and there was never any pressure to make any immediate decisions. Subsequently I have had 2 shoulder surgeries with Dr. Kumar and couldn't be more pleased with the outcomes. All of the staff at his offices are very professional and go above and beyond to accommodate you.

Dr Kumar performed surgery on both my wife and myself. In both cases the surgery was needed because of accidents resulting in severe bone breaks. My wife had most of her elbow replaced and I crushed my humerus just below the shoulder joint. Dr. Kumar's skill has restored most of our movement well beyond our expectations. Although I did not think I would ever return to the activities I did before the accident, I can once again play golf, tennis, and anything else I want to do. Thanks Doc!

The day I came in to meet with Dr. Kamar, my mind was immediately set at ease. He was friendly, professional, kind,and knew exactly how to approach my problem with my shoulder. He and his staff are wonderful! I highly recommend Dr. Kumar, at Coastal Orthopedics. I cannot thank you enough. My new shoulder, is perfect! The best part.....I have no more pain in it!
