Dr Austell reviewed my MRI and explained what was causing my pain. He did a physical exam and then recommended treatment.
I check the education and Bd Medicine on any physician prior to seeing them. Not only did Dr. Austell ‘check out’, but he is very personable. I am a provider as well, and recently moved to FL - away from the docs I either know personally, or at least I no longer have access to others who know the docs down here. Dr. Austell put me at ease both from my looking into his background and when I met him. I’m very impressed, so much so that he will be doing a second epidural injection, as my condition warrants it.
Dr Austell performed a physical exam to confirm the pain areas. He provided treatment options and thoroughly discussed each with me. I appreciate being a part of the decision making team. At the time of my procedure, Dr Austell confirmed my medical, history, allergies and the procedure to be done. I have previously had injections by other providers. The injection with Dr Austell was by far, the easiest, quickest epidural ever. I highly recommend him.

I have had back problems since my 20's, now I am 80 and have been treated various ways but not much help. Then a miracle happened, I was sent to doctor Austell. He first wanted to give me shots in my neck, I have had one before, didn't go well and said "I would never do it again."
