During my lifetime I have had 5 joint replacements. Two were from Dr Alan Valadie. Five years ago he replaced my hip and on April 8, 2019 he did a full knee replacement. After both surgeries I was pain free . Even the knee. He kept me for 2 nights and on the third day I could have danced out of the hospital. I know this is not the usual pain story but I believe he had allot to do with it. He is the best Orthopedic surgeon I have ever had. I highly recommend him. The entire staff including Rob his P.A. are great .

I am very pleased to have found Dr. Eric Sundberg and the resources of Coastal Orthopedics. Dr. Sundberg performed ACDF surgery on me and the results were terrific. After experiencing unbearable pain, I had the surgery and haven’t had any problems since. I have the utmost confidence in him and would recommend him to anyone who has to have this type of surgery.

Dr. Schafer and Holly Stump, PA provided excellent care for my rotator cuff surgery. Dr. S accurately diagnosed my injury and set an appropriate course from the surgery to the follow-up care for me. I had all of my follow-up visits with Holly and she was outstanding. I never felt rushed and she explains the process very well. Both welcome questions. I highly recommend this team. I am well on my way to a successful recovery. I made the right decision to have the surgery.

Great spine surgeon, with gifted hands. In February of 2019, I had a successful 2 stage lumbar spine surgery, 4 level fusion and a laminectomy. Now, not quite two months later, I’m feeling great. He also has a good bed-side manner and explains everything quite well.

Dr. Schafer and Holly was FANTASTIC throughout the entire knee surgery process with our son. They both were empathetic, patient, well versed, and very professional! We would recommend Dr. Schafer and his team to ALL in need of surgery!

I received the best care I could have asked for from Dr. Schafer and Holly, PA. They made the surgery and recovery a breeze. Clinic staff was friendly and efficient. Holly was great about answering my questions and keeping me informed and Dr. Schafer was always available when needed.
