Usually my first appointment with a specialist is them getting familiar with my issues. Dr. Bonenberger did not even sit down! My leg has been giving me a lot of pain & seems weak. I told him that I couldn't tell if it was coming from my knee or my hip, but my hip was actually bothering me worse. But he did an x-ray on the knee and said it did not look bad and just said I should try physical therapy and that was about it. Do not feel like he really took the time to diagnose my problem. Front desk was friendly and efficient, the waiting time to see the doctor was reasonable. An x-ray was quickly taken. I received an injection for my hip pain after describing my symptoms. I feel much better today and I expect to improve even more. I am so grateful.
Handled all concerns and provided great feedback
I am a physician myself and had problems with one of my knees. Dr. Bonenberger , after reviewing X rays come and stated clearly: I treat patients , not X rays and proceed to examine my knee and offered two alternatives, I chose the easiest one and he completely agreed with my choice . In five minutes I was walking very grateful and almost painless to my car. Excellent person, physician, orthopedist!

Dr. Bonenberger, RN Maryann, the Anesthiologist, and the whole staff were very professional, friendly, and attentive throughout my entire outpatient visit and Surgery. I felt appreciated. I would most definitely recommend Dr. Bonenberger and team. I would use them (and may very soon for my left hip) again without hesitation.
Dr Bonenberger was my surgeon on 2017 in replacing the right hip. I had a great experience with Dr Bonenberger at this time. On 2024 my left side hip needed to be replaced. I was lucky to have Dr Bonenberger again. I just had the operation last week on December 11. He is a top professional surgeon I have ever met.I am doing great and thank you to him and all his team.
He was so polite and understanding and listened to me and gave me choices on the proper treatment for me and showed concern that I didn’t receive from my previous orthopedic doctor. I felt assured that we are making the right decision for me.
