I had mixed expectations from my visit with Dr. Austell. While professionally competent, I found our interaction lacking in warmth and empathy. Unfortunately, I didn't see much improvement from my epidural procedure. Communication was direct but could benefit from more compassionate and friendlier interactions.
This was my 4th or 5th time seeing Dr Austell at the surgery center. They whole staff is so professional in what they do, that I was in and out in less than an hour. I'm very happy with my experience.

Dr. Austell is a game changer when it comes to pain management and bedside manners. He’s amazing, caring, listens and understands pain. He has truly changed my life in the past 2 months and seems to always have a constructive and reasonable approach to pain management! And, he’s super supportive and friendly!

Dr. Austell is an exceptional listener who takes his time with each patient to determine the best course of treatment for pain. The bilateral SI joint injections I receive from him are relatively painless (I don’t ask for sedation) and result in several months of pain relief and a good night’s sleep! Wait times are minimal to before scheduled time.

I have been a patient of Dr. Austell for a while. He is a very caring doctor. He sincerely listens to your issues and cares. His staff is genuine just like him. I feel very comfortable with him.
